About Koru Specialist Services
Koru Specialist Services was founded to serve our vulnerable population. Our name and logo was inspired by our hope for new beginnings and the belief in the power of people. The koru is the Māori name given to the new unfurling fern frond and symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace.
In pounamu carving the koru is said to represent new beginning, growth and regeneration. Koru Specialist Services ensures timely access to high quality evidence based, client-focused specialist services.
We aim to support collaboration and shared understanding between the team around the client in a culturally appropriate, flexible, safe and individualised manner.
