Comprehensive Solutions to Complex Challenges Across New Zealand
Neurosequential Approach
In working with at-risk clients, the Neurosequential Model takes a holistic and developmentally-oriented approach.
This model does not use a specific therapeutic approach or intervention, but rather organises a child’s history and current functioning.
This approach involves examining a client’s capacity, strengths, areas of need, and identifying possible interventions (educational, enrichment, therapeutic) in ways that will help family, educators, therapists, and other caregivers meet the child’s needs.
Our assessments are designed to identify a variety of neurodevelopmental conditions in different age groups including:
- Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder
- Neurological Conditions (Cerebral Palsy Traumatic Brain Injury)
- Traumatic Backgrounds
- Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD)
- Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Global Development Delays
- Developmental Coordination Challenges
- Specific Learning Disabilities
