Comprehensive Solutions to Complex Challenges Across New Zealand

Koru's Sensory Room

A sensory room is a therapeutic space with a variety of equipment that provides students with special needs with personalised sensory input – which helps these children calm and focus themselves so they can be better prepared for learning and interacting with others.

It also provides an immersive sensory experience, has a calming effect that reduces anxiety and improves focus and provides physical and mental stimulus for clients with physical disabilities, developmental delays and sensory impairments. Our sensory room is equipped with modern equipment that is suitable for all ages.

Our sensory room and environment provide fantastic opportunities for children and adults to explore their surroundings through their senses.
